I am creating this blog/site/thing to share my experience and progress as I build my very first Rat Rod/Resto Mod whatever you want to call it truck.
This is not expert advice and should be considered entertainment, I am fumbling my way through this and I got tired of sharing the same set of photos with different people as I make progress.
Prior to this I had no knowledge of cars, never even bothered to change my own oil. As a kid I remember my Grandpa always tinkering with his cars or other peoples cars, he was a mechanic by trade, in fact most of my family is connected to cars either through work or hobbies but I just never bothered to learn. Time to change that.
My hope in the end is I have a nice history of the massive project I have undertaken, maybe someone gets something useful out of reading it or at least a record of how not to do it?
A very smart man told me that “you can do anything if your willing to redo it when you screw it up”. So here we go… What could go wrong!
